Details Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival, and transfer to hotel.
Arrival at Yangon airport, and dinner and overnight in
Yangon. (Depending on Arrival flight) Visit Chaukhtutgyi
Pagoda, the colossal reclining Buddha Image, walk around
Kandawgyi Lake, and visit in the downtown area such as China
Town, India Town. When the sun goes down, drive to Great
Shwedagon Pagoda and watch the devotional activities from
the Pagoda Precinct. Dinner and overnight in Yangon.

Day 2 : Excursion to Twantay, and night train to Mandalay.
Cross the Yangon River, then continue to Twantay by Local Bus. Watch the
surrounding areas and reach to Twantay. First visit Local market to watch the
Populace of the environ, and continue to Shwesandaw Pagoda, the tallest
religious monument in that vicinity, and continue to Pottery making cottage
industry, and cotton weaving centers. Take the bus back to Yangon and transfer
to Railway station for Mandalay. Overnight on Train.

Day 3 : Transfer to hotel, and sightseeing in Mandalay by bus.
Transfer to Hotel for the refreshment, and commence the sight seeing by Local
Bus to Shwenandaw Monastery, the only remaining apartment of original Mandalay
palace, and Kuthotaw Pagoda known the World largest book for its Buddhist
inscription. Visit Gold leaf making, Stone carving, and bronze casting which are
only to be seen in Mandalay. Mahamuni pagoda is the most important object for
all Buddhist people. Climb up the Mandalay hill to view panorama of the
surrounding area. Dinner and overnight in Mandalay.

Day 4 : Continue sightseeing in Ava, Amrapura, and Sagaing.
Drive to silk-weaving cottage industry in Amrapura, and U Bein Bridge built by
teak wood of residue of old palace and is over 140 Years old, Continue to Ava,
the previous Palace before Mandalay sometime by boat and by horse card. Then
continue to Sagaing, the famous Center of Religious Retreat, and to learn the
life of Nuns. Ywahtaung village is noted for the silverware cottage industry.
After diner, enjoy the Marionette show.

Day 5 : Local Bus to Monywa
Transfer to Highway bus terminal to take the Bus for Monywa. Watch the
activities on the Road. Transfer to hotel, and start sight seeing to Thanbuddhe
temple famous for its pilaster work and thousands of Buddha Images big one and
small one, and the world largest reclining Buddha image on the top of the
mountain. Again visit Bodhitahtaung Pagoda and watch the activity. Dinner and
overnight at Monywa hotel.

Day 6 : Continue visit Powintaung, and Bus to Pakkuku, and boat to Bagan.
(Morning) Cross the Chindwin river by small boat, and visit Shwebataung pagoda,
and its monkey sanctuary. Then visit Powin Mountain, the mountain where the
alchemist worked for the stone of life-metal. Lunch in Monywa and take the local
Bus to Pkkuku. Stop at some villages and Phakhan Village, the birth place of
famous drunken Nat U Min Kyaw, and continue to Pakkuku to cross the Ayeyawaddy
River by boat to Bagan. Dinner and overnight in Bagan.

Day 7 : Visit the Ancient Capital Bagan(1044-1287 AD).
Visit the Ancient Capital by bicycles, and horse-card. Dhamayazeka pagoda is the
symbol to study the worshipping of future Buddha. Visit Minnanthu, and Pwasaw
village to learn the country life. Climb up the Tayokepyway temple to view the
panorama of the old capital. Shwesantaw pagoda is the earliest pagoda build by
King Anawyahta while Mingalarzedi was the last stupa built in Bagan period.
Visit Myingaba village and drop one house after another to study the processing
of local product lacquer ware. Then stop at Gubyaukgyi temple to learn the
earliest fresco. Manuha temple is to see the mental feeling of its royal builder
in those days. Proceed to Nagayon and Abeyatana temple, and view the panorama
from Lakanada pagoda. Dinner and overnight at Bagan.

Day 8 : Continue exploring the Ancient Capital.
Drive to Nyaungoo local market to watch the populace of the up-country. Visit
Shewzeegon pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar Stupa, and Gubyaukgyi temple
noted for its 13th century fresco. Ananda temple is well famous for its
masterpiece architecture built in the form of perfect Greek cross. Sulamani
temple is well noted for the fine pilaster work while Dhamayangyi temple is
significant for the fine brickwork. Drive to hotel for check in. Lunch at Sithu
restaurant.
Visit to Taungphee village to learn the white noodle (Burmese breakfast) making.
Proceed to Tharaba gate, and the old palace excavation site. Shwegugyi temple is
the early type Myanmar single storied temple and nice overhead looking from the
terrace. Thutbyinnyu temple is the tallest temple in Bagan, and Nathlaungkyaung
is the only Hindu Vishnu temple in Bagan. Buphaya is the oldest style pagoda in
Bagan located on the bank of majestic Ayeyawaddy River. Dinner and overnight in
Bagan.

Day 9 : Drive to Mt. Popa, and continue to Kalaw.
(Morning) Depart for Mt. Popa, visit the village on route. Drop at Nats (Spirit)
museum to see the life size of the Nats statues. Climb up the mountain to view
the environ of arid area. Proceed to Kalaw with visit to village and school en
route. Dinner and overnight in Kalaw.

Day 10 : Trekking to Palaung village, and continue to Pindaya.
Trekking to Palaung village (Taryaw) with the view of the forest, mountain, and
hillside plantation. Visit to new Palaung village, and proceed to monastery at
old village. Drop at the old long tent in which ten or more families are living
together.
Walk back to Kalaw, and continue to Pindaya with visit en route. Visit Pindaya
cave in which thousands of Buddha Images are adorned at ever corner and niche of
the cave. Dinner and overnight in Pindaya.

Day 11 : Visit tribal Market, and drive to Inle Lake.
Visit every 5 days tribal market to watch colourful minorities before drive to
Inle Lake. Stop at some PaO and Danu village to learn the daily life of the
people. Transfer to Hotel located right on the Lake. Dinner and overnight in
Inle Lake.

Day 12 : Explore in and around Inle Lake.
Explore in and around the Lake with small boat. Learn the life of the fishermen,
the floating garden on which vegetables, and flowers are grown. Phaungdawoo
pagoda is located right in the center of the lake, and famous for its five
sacred Buddha images. Inle silk handloom weaving is famous in the whole country
and watch the processing of the hand-loom weaving cottage industry and silver
smith, and other activities in that area.
Visit to floating village to see the village's life, and drop at Ngaphaechaung
monastery to view the jumping cats. Dinner and overnight in Inle.

Day 13 : Leisure in the morning or short visit, and fly back to Yangon.
In the morning, Leisure or short visit nearby villages (If time allowed Intein
village or some other villages) to learn the daily life of the tribal people,
visit house to house. Afternoon fly back to Yangon. Dinner and overnight in
Yangon.

Day 14 : Last minutes visit and departure…
Visit Great Shwedagon pagoda, the landmark of the country before the sun is hot,
and continue to Chaukhtutgyi pagoda, the gigantic reclining image of Buddha, and
Scotch Market to by memories from Myanmar, and evening departure for airport for
Bangkok…
