Kandawgyi Lodge is situated
in the town of Pyin Oo Lwin in Mandalay Division. It is 3605
feet above sea level. A popular hill station, about 69 km
away from Mandalay and well-known for its colonial-style
houses with large compound and pine trees, eucalyptus and
silver-oak abound in town. The weather is delightfully and
pleasant all year round.
It's only a 5-minute walk to the National Kandawgyi Gardens,
an area of 436.96 acres which includes natural forests,
tiers of lakes and recreational lawns plus alluring
landscapes and scenic views. One can enjoy the beauty of
fountains, cascades and seasonal flowers throughout the
whole year. It also boasts of theme parks, such as the
Bamboo Garden, Pine Forests, a Wildlife Sanctuary. Other
places of interest in Pyin Oo Lwin are Pwe Kauk and
Ani-sakan Waterfalls, Goteik Viaduct and Peik Chin Myaung
Caves. A colonial style house which is situated next to the
National Kandawgyi Gardens and turned it into a paradise
with additional bungalows spread within the compound.
Kandawgyi Lodge is perfectly placed, overlooking the
panoramic view of the Kandawgyi Lake and its surroundings.

There are 15 tastefully designed rooms to make ones' stay a
perfect holiday. No telephones nor televisions in the rooms,
except in the sitting lounge, in the main building.
