State-Division (Kayin State)
The Capital of Kayin (Karen) state is Phaan (hpaan).

It has an area of 30031 sq-km, and the population is over 1.4 million.

This division is also sharing border with Thailand.

Karen people are very loyal, and it has two major migrations: one is called "Sa-Kaw" karen, and the other is "Poe" Karen. They are mostly Christians, and this is because the Kayin people worked together with the British Empire at a time when Myanmar was a colony of Britain. At this time, most Kayin people converted to Christianity. Most of them are Baptists.

Kayin people are also know as Ooze for their skills of training the Elephants.
