Magway Division
     
The capital of Magway division is Magway, located on the eastern bank of Ayeyawaddy river.

This division covers the area of 44301 Sq-km, and the population is over 4.4 million.

It is also the place where the earliest primate (over 40 millions years old) was discovered in Pon-taung-Ponya region. It claim that " the Myanmar is the birth place of human origin" in the world.

It is also the major town where the eastern and western side of Ayeyawaddy river by the connection of Newly constructed bridge.
