Details Itinerary
Day 1 : Transfer to airport early morning and fly to Kyaington (Kengtung), through
Mandalay, Heho and Tachileik. Arrival in Kengtung around 11 H 20 and transfer to
Motel. Walk to Wompauk village where Palaung Hill Tribe live. Back to town walk
to learn the Eastern Shan Tribe and their House, and breath taking sunset from
Naungton Lake.

Day 2 : Morning visits to the Central market to see the colorful minorities of
Eastern Shan State. Then continue to Buffalo's market. After this proceed to
Mount Pintauk about 12.5 mile from Motel to start trekking to Aeng tribal
village. These people Always colored their teeth by the resin of medicinal
plants, and trees. Then proceed to waterfall, and Lahu villages to study the
daily life and walk to Yamlaw village, inhabited by North Shan People Dinner and
overnight in Kyaington.

Day 3 : Discovery of a multi-ethnical market. After a 20 kms transfered by
vehicle, trekking up to Hokyin Village, inhabited by Akha people. Continue
walking to Mon Zin Khun Village, inhabited by Lahu people. On the way back to
Kengtung, discovery of Joephyu Village, inhabited by Wa people, and stop at
Baizin village to study the cottage industry of Kanbawza Shan people such as
sword, knifes, and betel nut cutters. Dinner and overnight in Kyaington.
Day 4 : Walking to a village inhabited by Ahku Hill Tribe. Then, go to Loi Mwe by
road, where we discover remnants of this former Hill Station built by the
British. Walk to Pan Waing Village, inhabited by Lahu people, and continue to Wa
and Akha Villages. Back to Hotel in Kengtung.
Day 5 : Visit of Shan lacquerware workshop and possibility of Shan traditional
steam bath, before reaching the airport. Flight to Yangon.
